We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.
We love Scotland because you can drive for hours without seeing a single car and never get bored of the scenery. The people are friendly, the whisky is outstanding and the landscapes are stunning. So here are 12 reasons to add Scotland to your bucket list.

Our second country on our month trip to Asia was The Kingdom of Cambodia! Flying with Jetstar from Singapore to Siem Reap, Cambodia for 3 nights!
Lonely Planet has a book called ‘Ultimate Travel, 500 Places to Visit’ and the number 1 place in the world to see were the temples of Angor Wat. So ever since then, Cambodia has been our top country to visit and Angkor Wat can now finally be crossed off our bucket list! And it did not disappoint!
With winding roads running through the mountains like ribbons as they hug the coastline of the turquoise waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Cabot Trail is known as one of the most beautiful and scenic journeys in the world showcasing an amazing coastal drive through the Cape Breton Highlands. So while on a week long trip around Nova Scotia in Canada we couldn’t resist exploring the trail ourselves!
