Hi there We’re Brock and Betty
A LITTLE ABOUT US
We both grew up in the county of Kent, in the UK, and got married in the summer of 2017 on a pebbled beach in Whitstable. We lived in a little flat in Tunbridge Wells and this is where we’d discuss our dreams of traveling the world and living abroad one day.
From there we created our Instagram accounts @Brock_and_Betty and @Betty_and_Blooms. We brought a camera and started taking photos of our trips abroad and here in the UK.
At the time we were both working part-time, Brock was a window cleaner and I was working in retail. After about 6 months of marriage, we both quit our jobs and worked part-time as social media managers and picked up the odd photography job along with our volunteer work for charity.
In December 2017 we were invited on our first press trip to Estonia and not long after we created our very first blog! The blog was a way for us to document our travels and the memories we made digitally. We also started creating travel guides to inspire others to travel and visit new destinations.
Within our first year of marriage, we visited 11 countries together, from a road trip around Europe to a month in Asia. This fuelled our love for traveling. As our collection of Lonely Planet guide books grew so did our craving for adventure and exploring new places.
Now we’re professional photographers and videographers. We work with tourism boards, brands, and hotels creating beautiful content and curating travel guides. We still do our volunteer work for charity and we work part-time to support ourselves and to carry on doing what we love.
So now we focus on outdoor experiences and off-the-beaten-track adventures!
