With its never-ending canals woven into the city and its many museums and galleries, you can spend the day wandering along with the smell of waffles and coffee! I’m forever in awe of the quirky architecture and the beauty of this place!

We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.
