We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.
We love Scotland because you can drive for hours without seeing a single car and never get bored of the scenery. The people are friendly, the whisky is outstanding and the landscapes are stunning. So here are 12 reasons to add Scotland to your bucket list.

Lech is a mountain village in the westernmost state of Vorarlberg, Austria. Being a small village with a population of roughly 1,500, you might not think that lech has much to offer. But its personality is bigger than its footprint. With delicious farm-to-table dining, cosy lodging and a sense of being in the middle of nowhere, Lech quickly made our way to one of our favourite destinations.
