We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.
We love Scotland because you can drive for hours without seeing a single car and never get bored of the scenery. The people are friendly, the whisky is outstanding and the landscapes are stunning. So here are 12 reasons to add Scotland to your bucket list.
