We headed up north to the county of Northumberland, situated in the North East of England. Our trip lasted 4 days and each day was started with a very early morning hike with the reward of a waterfall at the end of it. I personally think that every day should start like this, alas we, living in the South East of England, don’t really have waterfalls at all.
We love Scotland because you can drive for hours without seeing a single car and never get bored of the scenery. The people are friendly, the whisky is outstanding and the landscapes are stunning. So here are 12 reasons to add Scotland to your bucket list.

Appledore is a picturesque coastal village in North Devon. Our recent trip to Brittany was an absolute dream. Having over 1,700 miles (2,800) of coastline, Brittany represents a third of France’s total. With every hotel we stayed in we had the sea on the horizon. Our scenic drives hugged the rocky coastline, we had daily walks along the sand, dipped our toes into the clear water and enjoyed beach life. Brittany is filled with coastal experiences. Heading to Railay was one of the most beautiful experiences we had while on our trip to Thailand. Below is some handy tips we’ve put together for your up and coming trip, including where to stay and how to get to this stunning peninsular.
During our trip to Thailand we came to Khao Sok National Park in the Surat Thani Province for two days. We stayed on the Cheow Lan Lake at a resort called the Phutawan Raft House. The lake is surrounded by a large number of limestone mountains and the deep water of the lake and the green algae turn the colour of the water a beautiful emerald green, nothing like we have ever seen before!
