I have always loved elephants but never had the chance of meeting one, I love watching documentaries about how intelligent and caring they are and how they look after their families. During our trip to Thailand we came to Khao Sok National Park in the Surat Thani Province for two days. We stayed on the Cheow Lan Lake at a resort called the Phutawan Raft House. The lake is surrounded by a large number of limestone mountains and the deep water of the lake and the green algae turn the colour of the water a beautiful emerald green, nothing like we have ever seen before!
